I have found my new favorite TI finishing technique!! The only way to get the camo looking finish is to blast before heating. The heating process will be best acomplished with a acetyline tourch, using a .01 tip. This very small tip allows for the pattern to be controled and not look splotchy. Clean the TI very good after blasting then spray with a very light coat of WD40. I don't know why this works but it came from Strider and it works! I lay my frame on a fire brick after spraying then start to heat. Heat the areas you want the darkest to red hot. When you see the red glow moove along to the next area you want colored. After heating let cool then clean. WARNING, this heating will warp the TI, so be prepared to straighten.
I hope this helps sombody. Thanks to the guys who got me started with this!
