EXTREMA RATIO presents - BD4 ADRA
The Arditi Distruttori of the Regia Aeronautica (ADRA), operating in North Africa during the Second World War, earned two silver medals for military valor. The ADRA Battalion had the task of carrying out complex sabotage missions at enemy airports by means of guerrilla techniques which had been unknown until then. During official ceremonies, the 17th Stormo Incursori – lines up carrying on their belt the only true witness of daring, the ADRA combat dagger designed by Extrema Ratio.
Extrema Ratio has designed a special edition of the historic BD4 model with new finishes in a double edge version (BD4 ADRA CONTRACTOR) and single edge (BD4 ADRA) to mark 20 years since the establishment of the unit. The handle is composed of 2 anodized anticorodal aluminum scales in the new Tactical Mud color; the blade is made of Böhler N690 steel with a hardness of 58 HRC bearing the engraving of the department motto and coated with MIL-C-13924 burnishing.
The single edge version BD4 ADRA comes in a limited series of just 100 pieces and can be purchased exclusively on extremaratio.com.
The double edge version BD4 ADRA CONTRACTOR comes in a limited edition of 70 pieces available on our authorized retailers.
Both models come inside a certified IP67 waterproof polypropylene technical case with pressurization valve resistant to atmospheric agents, dust and shocks; this includes a scroll outlining the past and present of the 17th Stormo Incursori and a metal plate bearing the progressive number within the limited series.
