Buck Knives Introduces New Clearwater™ Bait Knife
A new edition added to the popular fillet knife series

Buck Knives is proud to extend the Clearwater™ series by adding a bait knife to the lineup. The Clearwater™ Bait Knife encompasses the same cutting edge technology as the Clearwater™ fillets, with added features for preparing bait and other tough tasks.

The 5” double-sided blade is just the right size and features backside serrations for heavy duty cutting. Durable enough to cut through bone, fins, cartilage and scales, the bait knife’s backside edge takes the dirty work out of processing, saving the fine-edged blade for the efficient slicing and clean cuts.

The ergonomically shaped handle is equipped with anti-slip ridges for added safety and control. The blade is constructed of 420HC stainless steel, offering great edge retention and corrosion resistance. The bait knife measures 10 ½” overall and weighs only 3.7 ounces.

Proudly made in Buck’s Post Falls, Idaho, facility, the Clearwater™ Bait Knife is the perfect addition to any fisherman’s tacklebox.

The Splizzors innovative design efficiently combines the use of scissors and pliers to create a versatile tool even for the most rugged of fishing tasks. Utilizing the concepts of BASS Elite anglers Bill Lowen and Brandon Palaniuk, along with Mark Davis of Big Water Adventures TV show, the Buck product development team designed a tool that through extensive field testing by a variety of experienced anglers has been developed into the ultimate fishing product. C11PTID Delica4 Titanium/ VG-10 Damascus CLIPIT

The Delica is one of Spyderco’s oldest and most popular designs. In honor of the critical role that the Delica has played in Spyderco’s history, it seemed fitting to offer a full-production premium version of this iconic design. The result is the Titanium/Damascus Delica4. Known as D.P.S. 15, the blade material is produced by Takefu Special Steel Company, Ltd. in Japan. It consists of a VG-10 stainless steel core sandwiched between two outer layers of Damascus steel. Each of the Damascus layers is composed of 15 layers of forge-welded steel, beautifully patterned and etched to reveal the detail of the structure. To complement the dramatic blade of this Delica, the handle is precision machined from solid 6AL-4V titanium. The titanium scales are precision machined and bead blasted to a handsome grey finish. All components are assembled with precision stainless steel Torx® hardware and meticulously hand finished. Extra touches of class include a stainless steel liner tube in the lanyard hole and a polished stainless steel clip configurable for left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry. The Titanium/Damascus Delica4 elevates this iconic design from a supremely dependable everyday tool to a fully functional piece of art. Overall open length: 7.15 in (182 mm). Weight: 3.0 oz (85 g). Blade length: 2.95 in. (75 mm).

    Spyderco Domino Flipper

One of Spyderco’s guiding principles is “No more than necessary; no less than perfect.” Our new Domino folding knife is a shining example of this concept, combining an understated, but highly efficient “flipper” with the advanced ergonomics and high-performance cutting capability that make Spyderco knives unique. Designed by Eric Glesser, this performance-driven knife is our second model to feature a flipper (the first was the Southard Folder). Originally developed by custom knifemaker Kit Carson, a flipper is a small integral tab that extends from the edge side of the blade’s tang. When the knife is closed, it protrudes slightly from the back of the handle, where a slight pull of the index finger provides leverage to overcome the blade detent and rotate the blade into the open position.

The Domino’s flipper is a minimalist design that does not interfere with the knife’s refined ergonomics or prevent it from being opened via the blade’s Trademark Round Hole™. It is perfectly positioned to offer optimal leverage and is supported by special ball-bearing washers in the pivot that reduce friction to guarantee a smooth, reliable opening. In the open position, the flipper practically disappears into the grip-friendly contours of the handle.

Precision machined from CTS® XHP stainless steel, the Domino’s blade features a full-flat grind for superior edge geometry and a distal taper that ensures an acute point. It is mated to a handle that consists of a solid titanium scale on one side and a titanium liner and carbon fiber/G-10 laminate scale on the other. The solid titanium scale forms the foundation of the Domino’s sturdy Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.), which features a hardened steel interface that ensures a long service life and doubles as an overtravel stop for the lock. On the other side of the handle the Cubic Check carbon fiber/G-10 laminate scale boasts an intricate geometric pattern that is both visually stunning and provides an enhanced grip texture.

Designed to be carried and used, the Domino has a slim, pocket-friendly profile and an open-backed construction that reduces weight and allows easy cleaning. The Domino also boasts a four-position pocket clip—a unique feature for a flipper-style knife—that allows tip-up or tip-down carry on both the left and right sides of the body. Its long textured thumb ramp and forefinger choil (finger groove) comfortably support a wide range of grip options and ensure positive control during use. The Domino is a vivid reflection of Spyderco’s design philosophy that integrates all the defining characteristics of our approach to knifemaking into a uniquely functional cutting tool. We’re confident that you’ll be as excited about it as we are.

  5. Presseinfo: Spyderco Laci Szabo - Compression Lock

Spyderco Laci Szabo - C146CFBBKP SZABO BLACK BLADE

Laci Szabo is a law enforcement officer, a veteran U.S. Marine, and a word-class martial artist. He is also one of the most visionary knife designers in the industry, combining a unique flair for aesthetics with an in-depth understanding of function and defensive application.

The Szabo folder is a reflection of Laci’s philosophies regarding folding knife design as it applies to both utility and personal defense. Its large size creates a commanding presence and offers increased reach when used with fencing-style skills. The dramatic scimitar-shaped blade has a long, gently curving belly to maximize cutting power, while leaving the tip well centered to support point-oriented tactics. An unsharpened swedge on the back of the blade ensures an acute point and flows smoothly into a scalloped area on the spine. This unique geometry reduces drag and enhances the blade’s trapping potential when applied with reverse-grip skills. The blade is mated to a generously sized handle that easily accommodates the largest hands and provides extreme leverage in all applications.

The original version of the Szabo folder was released in 2012 and featured a satin-finished blade and Gold Line G-10/carbon fiber laminate scales. In 2013, this version has been discontinued in favor of an all-black edition even better suited to tactical applications.

The heart of the Szabo folder is its 5.85-inch CPM S30V scimitar-shaped blade. Its partial hollow grind creates excellent edge geometry while reinforcing the spine for increased strength. A Trademark Round Hole™ in the blade supports swift one-handed opening with either hand and, together with a subtle guard on the edge side of the blade, effectively protects the user’s hand during use. For applications where light discipline is critical, the Szabo’s blade features a non-reflective titanium carbonitride coating.

The Szabo’s handle is constructed of full stainless steel liners capped by black Cubic Check carbon fiber/G-10 laminate scales. This visually striking material is lightweight, incredibly durable, and provides a secure, non-slip grip.

To cope with the extreme leverages associated with its longer blade, the Laci Sazabo folder features an enhanced version of Spyderco’s proprietary Compression Lock mechanism—one of the strongest folding knife locks ever designed. When the knife is opened, a split leaf spring integral in one of the handle’s stainless steel liners extends between the stop pin and an upward-facing ramp on the blade’s tang. The wedging force of this spring locks the blade securely and its placement on the back of the handle makes it virtually impossible to disengage during use.

The Szabo folder’s Compression Lock is also unique because it is accompanied by an internal “self-close” mechanism. Nested within one of the handle halves, this mechanism gains mechanical ...
