Small feather pattern dagger.

I have a hard time with daggers. The symmetry required always gives me fits.
Bone was the first choice for the handle on this little feather pattern blade, but in the end it was not stable enough to use.
The materials used in the final version are 1084/15n20, wrought iron, silicon bronze, double dyed box elder with jade green G-10 spacers.
The only thing missing is a silicon bronze finial for the butt cap; it is being made by Jim Grecni using the lost wax process.

Happy to answer any questions, Fred

Wow, what a beautiful beasty.

Craftsmanship, design and material is amazing. It looks like a flame is caught in the blade, the grip is made of embers.

Nice knife! I love daggers

OK,here the first question:
Who made the feather pattern blade-steel?
2.Do you have blades/bars with this steel for sale?

Have a great weekend,
Gerald

Thank you for your kind remarks:)

The blade is made from a canister welded billet using 1084/15n20. The blade was forged and ground at my shop.

I do not have billets or blades for sale. It is so time consuming to do the canister welds that the cost would be prohibitive.
