Only 35 left or Just in case

Just in case there will be a rainy summer.

This batch of blades, RWL34, Elmax, 12C27 and AEB-L will keep me occupied for a while.

All the best.

When this is for summer, how many blades do you need for winter? :staun:

Nice picture, i don´t want to wish you much rain, but i heard, you can build knifes at sunshine, too :steirer:

Come one, less that 50 blades :D
Porsche on the way? :steirer:

Please, show the finished ones.

Thanks for the comments.

Today there are only 35 blades out of 40 to take care of.

Three are sold (one to Australia), one on the workbench to become a 50 years gift and these two hunters/skinners.

The blades are Sandvik 12C27 (88 x 30 x 3,2 mm) with at full straight Scandi grind, grinded on the platen and a false edge.

The knife to the left has a handle of stabilized Papel Maser, walrus and pewter. Have not decided yeat if it is going to be for sale or if it will be my next Moose Hunter.

The knife to the right is a comission to be delivered in june with a handle of stabilized, x-cut oak dyed red/black, stabilized cherstnut (kastanje originally from a friends woodshed) and pewter.

Thanks for looking.

Today was really just "IN CASE"

This morning only +2 Celsius, rain and wind all day. The cat and the dog refused to go out so there was really nothing else to do than go to the workshop.

I started yesterday afternoon (the same weather) with:

This block of stabilized Chestnut (Kastanje) and a left ower of stabilized spalted Birch.

This is the result so far this afternoon:

The blade is AEB-L 100 x 26 x 3,5 mm with a false edge.

Thanks for looking.
