Damned, who built that crazy elephant knife???
The Police is not just a knife, it´s a KNIFE (remember Crocodile Dundee
). It´s just huge, even compared to my larger folders. It´s in the Cherusker Ryback league, but way more elegant and EDC able. The Police is a sleek and elegant knife, but, as mentioned, HUGE! Here´s the specs:
Overall: 251mm
Blade: 111m
Handle: 141mm
Edge: 102mm
Weight: 140g
VG10 blade, G10 handles, Backlock
Here´s a pic to show the size (Compared to Spyderco Moran Fixed)

So, it´s big. But sweet. It feels good in your hand. The G10 feels good, gives solid grip and makes the knife look and feel premium. The handle is large, but slim (see pics below) and allows to hold the knife convenient in different ways. It never feels uncomfortable.
Blade opening is just perfect, it opens smooth and locks strong and rock solid. Build like a tank, manufactured like a Swiss watch. Good job Spyderco!
I really loved to EDC the knife. And now I understand why it is called the Police: It´s just perfect for Police duty, you can operate it wearing gloves, the blade shape is perfect for cutting wrist ties or rope (yes, I think of hanging people, not too unlikely to happen on my job), but also for all other everyday cutting tasks. I forgot to mention it came off box razorsharp.
Any Cons?
Yes. the Police is a beauty but WAY too expensive in Europe. Import it from the US, it´s much cheaper (incl. tax and shipping). Avoid Spydieguys, they´re cheap, but not reliable.
And why the hell did they remove the word POLICE on the blade, like it is on the SS modell??? Please Sal, write it on the blade again!
I am not sure if i´d like to get a G10 plain Police, or a SS serrated classic modell, but I definitely know I will get a Police soon!

BaliYo
Yes, it´s a pen. It contains a Fisher cartridge, so it´s able to write in very hot and very cold climate, underwater and upside down.
But it´s even more a toy, and a relayy funny one! I loved to play with that thing, it´s addicting. Great! I was about to order some, but 45 Euro??? For a toy?? NO WAY!
Ok, it´s unique, it comes with a DVD showing instructions on some tricks and it is a great item. I really like it, but I will have to find a good source for this babies, for I´m not willing to pay more than twice the US price!
Oh, I forgot: One of the "legs" (the red one) does not swing that perfect. I did not have the tools to fix it (2 T8 torx and sandpaper, just have one t8), so maybe Teach can fix it.)
THANK YOU KENO, THANK YOU JOYCE!
