Klinok show in moscow.......... photos..

ok.. here is smoe pictures of the klinok.. or blade show in moscow,
its the biggest knife show in russia,, held twise a year,

i think last years show was better than the show this year,
anyway there was mostly displays form russian porducers, but there was also a strong showing from mosty of the distributors of imported knives aswell.
aspecialy fromt he japanese trading company katsumi,, and camillus.. which seem to being fearing bette rhere in russian than in the u.s.

there wasnt any displays from non russian companies though , and all the non russian brands were represneted by there russian imoprters,,
at the hunting and outdoor expo last month in moscow there was more showing from the non russian companies,, but seems klinok is still mostly a russian show,

damascus knives form one of our competitors,, mezhov....... they are a small company in st petersburg and compeat with out damascus art knife branch in st petersburg.......... you can see some forms that are quite like ours.. :) i think they may have one or two of our lod employes.. .... but they also make plenty of original knives aswell.....

russian darts........ throwing knives,, well theyer popular,, .. knife throwings is technicaly illegal in russia, but is is popular,, there was a big club in moscow that was closed down by the police some time ago.......

hi oliver, ill post some more pics of her knives later, yes they are very good quality,, some of the blades alone can cos several 1000snd $..

dimm has the rite link.
but i dont know you theyer understanding german...
the little knives. with an ebony handle and a blued steel guard and a good damascus blade are costing around 400$ us.. when you are buying them directly drom the maker , not in a shop..
the daggers and such are some 1000snds of $$


if you are realy set on something contact them. and if somehting takes to your wallet i could proably arrange to send it for you when we send knives for jenni..
russian laws are quite hard on sending knvies aspecialy single ones.plus the customs have wandering hands :(

Bei diesen Foldern ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit sie zu exportieren sehr gering, es handelt sich dabei um Arbeiten von einer kleinen Gruppe privater Messermacher ( das heißt, es wären immer nur sehr kleine Stückzahlen zu erwerben). Die Messer müssten dann auf dem normalen Postweg versandt werden und wie Julius schon sagte gibt es dort doch bestimmte Probleme. Allerdings sind wir immer bemüht die Vorraussetzungen zu schaffen besonders schöne Messer nach Deutschland zu importieren.

good you liked the show,, i think klinok is realy something for anyone who realy loves knives,,
it is lso for the most part only knife producers and few traders and small makers,,
unlike nearly all other knife shows , where mostly the show consists of knife traders and some single knife makers...
dont know if it being primarialy a industrial show is a good thing or a bad thing , but its is good to see most of the makers all in the one building at one time . lets you see what everyone is making and compare the quality and price and such,,

its not realy much of a show for buying materials and swaping knives and meeting other knife folks though,,
